Getting Started

To join the CalNetAD forest, follow the steps below:

1. Familarize yourself with:
   - Policies for CalNetAD OU Administrators,
   - CalNetAD Naming Standards,
   - Frequently Asked Questions,
   - CalNetAD design.

2. Schedule a meeting with the CalNetAD project team by using the feedback form. The CalNetAd team will discuss your requirements with you.

3. Agree to the CalNetAD policies and complete a Service Level Agreement (SLA).

4. Provide the CalNetAD project team with the name of a mailing list for your local administrators that can be added to the CalNetAD Administrative Contact List.

5. Provide the CalNetAD project team with the CalNet ID of the first administrator for the new OU.

6. Provide the CalNetAD project team with the DNS name of the first computer that will join the new OU.

7. Participate in the CalNetAD Planning Committee.
